Breaking news from s3maphor3.org. I finally released the next public version of PIMB, the open source instant messaging framework that makes writing bots easy and fun. This update is long overdue, I wanted to release this version much earlier, but life got in the way. The PIMB homepage contains the details, screenshots, videos and downloads. Enjoy, my friends.

The update is small, but has one significant new feature that I have not released to the public before: support for Google Talk/Gmail. This means that you chat with PIMB bots from Google Talk, and even better...your very own PIMB bot can in fact run under a Google account (yourbot@gmail.com). This makes your bot available to millions of users!
